Impact of Machine Translation on Japanese Writing Skills

The purpose of this study was to determine the impact machine translation on Japanese writing skills. ability write is also understood through components writing. This uses experimental research using a one-group design. It conducted at Private University in Jakarta. Data collection techniques are documents and written tests. participants were 60 students who received Writing Course. To effect skills, it analyzed t-test: Paired Two Sample for Means. results concluded that had significant completion assignments so which led an increase ability. However, each component writing, there still weaknesses aspects grammar development logical ideas. Therefore, has implications understanding how works, limitations must review their writings editing stage.
